MEET OUR NEW FASHTECH PIONEERS

Centre for Fashion Enterprise welcomes six new innovators to Fashion Tech Pioneer Programme

We are thrilled to announce that Centre for Fashion Enterprise (CFE) have selected their next six FashTech Pioneers. This is the third round of innovators to go through the rigorous and all-immersive six-month programme which includes mentorship, tailored business support and investment opportunities. By providing expert advice in areas such as growth strategy, finance, branding, storytelling and digital. CFE helps transform their innovative ideas into visionary, viable and sustainable businesses.

“We’re excited to gain access to CFE’s prestigious network and work with highly esteemed mentors,” says Rebecca Morter of London Designers Collective (LDC), one of the selected businesses.

Located at their hub in Hackney, CFE are excited to work with these diverse enterprises and help take them to the next level. Here are the names of the chosen innovators:

LDC:  Creates short term concept stores appearing for 1-2 weeks at a time anywhere across London, creating a platform for consumers to discover & shop from independent brands with traceable and mindful practices, selling unique, exclusive & one of a kind items incomparable to that on the high street.

Riina O: Riina O is a brand of luxurious hand-crafted leather gloves, joining traditional handcraftsmanship with modern technological advantages to create high-end design accessories.

Weavenote: An online platform providing a simple and efficient way for fashion brands and manufacturers to work closer together. Weavenote allows you to create tech packs in seconds, communicate visually and keep everyone on the same page – simple enough for anyone to use, but powerful enough to run an entire company.

Kiren Passi: Kiren Passi Ltd is a luxury fashion label combining an innovative use of material and modern silhouettes. Passi is pioneering an individual creative process that uses 3D moulded silicone bonding to fabrics alongside natural fabrics and digital stitching.

Seekers of Design (SODS): SODS is a business-to-consumer marketplace hosting independent art, homeware and fashion designers. SODS is disrupting the trade show landscape by introducing B2C technology to a traditionally B2B sector. Members can virtually browse and pre-order items from established trade shows using the latest Virtual Reality technology or shop for readily available retail items.

Sewport: Sewport is a Marketplace with SaaS features to effortlessly turn ideas into products. It is an easy-to-use online sourcing and production solution, connecting brands and manufacturers without complexity.

Success from CFE’s Fashion Tech pioneer programme can be seen with alumni Save Your Wardrobe, a wardrobe management app tackling the ‘fast fashion’ throwaway culture by reconnecting consumers to their own closets through AI & IoT. Since leaving the program, they have secured funding to hire on three new staff and will be launching their app in beta next month.
