Louise Gray
After studying at the Glasgow School of Art, Louise Gray subsequently graduated with an MA in textiles from Central Saint Martins. A specialist in print and embroidery, Louise is firmly established on the London Fashion Week schedule as an emerging designer who always pushes the boundaries with exciting and colourful collections. Her recent catwalk shows have received rave reviews from national and international fashion press, and increased sales through some of the world’s most directional fashion boutiques.
Louise creates wearable, brightly hued, boldly textured garments where movement and embellishment are key elements. Utilising a wide range of materials from silks to PVC and wool to polystyrene, Louise reworks tartans, stripes and polka dots with a combination of traditional embroidery and hand silkscreen printing; producing collections which always enthral her growing fan base.
A seasoned collaborator, Louise was colour consultant to Crown Paints on a fresh new colour palette. Other partnerships past and present include Schwarzkopf, online retailer Asos, The Smiley Company, Judy Blame, Nicholas Kirkwood and Pollini.
