J. JS LEE
The label J. JS LEE was created by Korean-born designer Jackie JS LEE. Jackie came to London to study pattern cutting at Central Saint Martins in 2007. She subsequently completed her MA course there in 2010. Her acclaimed collection won her the highly prized Harrods Award, and her collection was showcased in the window of the famed Knightsbridge store.
Jackie launched her eponymous label in March 2010, featuring sleek, chic androgynous pieces of tailoring in exquisite fabrics. She showcased her collection on the schedule at London Fashion Week with support from NEWGEN which has been ongoing into Spring 12.
Leading Korean conglomerate Samsung, one of the world’s largest technology companies recently awarded Jackie the ‘Samsung Fashion and Design Fund’ which provides her with valuable financial support.
Jackie JS LEE is passionate about tailoring. She consciously utilises and adapts menswear classics recreating them in feminine silhouettes, striking a clean and crisp balance between tailored lines that flatter the feminine body. Recent additions to Jackie’s collection include knitwear and leather bags. With a growing audience, strong press profile and an increasing number of high profile stockists including London’s exclusive Dover St Market, the label J. JS LEE is destined for commercial success.
