Hailing from Glasgow in Scotland, Graeme has already notched up a wealth of experience in the fashion industry with some of the biggest names in fashion including Alexander McQueen. His attention to detail and youthful couture cuts have frequently seen him named as one of the designers of the future
On completing his MA in womenswear at Central Saint Martins, Graeme was invited to meet with some of the chicest names in French fashion including Emanuelle Ungaro, Rochas, Karl Lagerfeld and agent Floriane de Saint Pierre. Graeme’s clothes are high concept based sexy pieces with beautiful detailing, always highlighting his advanced technical skills. He likes to create beauty in a sporty, modern, and unique way.
In 2008 Graeme won the prestigious Scottish Young Designer of the Year award and in Feb 2010, took a major step by presenting his collection at New York Fashion Week, having secured sponsorship from Mac&Milk. His collection met with rave reviews and gained huge support from key international industry figures The Graeme Armour label is sold internationally in some of the most prestigious boutiques. His work is also regularly featured in the world’s leading fashion and lifestyle magazines including: Interview, Vogue, Purple, ID and Elle US
Graeme is a seasoned collaborator and consultant, presently developing collections for a London-based international fashion brand in addition to growing his own label.
