A SUCCESSFUL COLLABORATION WITH CFE, FEMINA AND BRITISH COUNCIL INDONESIA SINCE 2012.
The Indonesia Fashion Forward (IFF) programme delivers dynamic support to emerging fashion designers in Indonesia. The development and internationalisation of almost 50 designers has garnered support from the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Industry and the Ministry of Trade creating a regional hub that aims to nurture an innovative and economically sustainable Indonesian fashion industry and foster a creative exchange between the UK and Indonesia.
Bringing its expertise in strategic fashion partnerships to bear, CFE continues to provide bespoke training and mentoring, transforming designers into globally visible designer businesses, unlocking talent through implementing viable business strategy and production support in preparation for the international market. The programme delivers support to designers in line with the CFE’s core programmes; Market Entry, Pioneer and Accelerate.
Capturing the attention of buyers from Harvey Nichols, ASOS, Question Air, as well as noted fashion commentator Colin McDowell – all attending Jakarta Fashion Week, the success of the IFF programme continues to gain recognition at an international level, with continuous potential in terms of economic growth and flourishing Indonesian fashion talent.
