Louise Mullane

Louise joined Centre for Fashion Enterprise as Project Manager in 2014. Working closely with the entire CFE team, Louise manages special projects with a focus on international partnerships including the European Commission funded Worth and YOTA programmes, as well as CFE International activities.

After completing a Masters in Museum Studies, Louise worked with the prestigious fashion and textiles collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum before going on to join not-for-profit organisation, The Woolmark Company, as European Marketing Project Manager. Louise led collaborations with luxury fashion designers, including Vivienne Westwood and Roland Mouret and was instrumental in launching the prestigious International Woolmark Prize in the Europe region in 2012 – scouring the continent to find the very best in fashion design talent to take part in the award.

With over five years’ experience in building and managing international partnerships and programmes, Louise’s strengths lie in creating and maintaining networks of designers, manufacturers and associations, as well as delivering high profile fashion events and campaigns.

Outside of the world of fashion project management, Louise can usually be found visiting museums, riding her bike or researching her area of specialist interest; mourning dress.
