Linda is Director of Business & Innovation at London College of Fashion. She oversees the College’s enterprise and commercial activities, innovation and knowledge exchange projects through the Centre for Fashion Enterprise, the Fashion Innovation Agency, and the Short Courses and Professional Training unit. It’s a wide ranging brief that draw’s on Linda’s fashion industry expertise and business acumen.
Having gained an extensive knowledge of the fashion business from many years of experience in fashion retailing, marketing and product development, working for international brands including Jaeger, The Woolmark Company and Tencel, Linda joined London College of Fashion in 2003. She headed up the Short Courses and Professional Training unit, building it up from a £1m to a £4.5m business, before moving to her current role in 2015.
Linda is also heavily involved with the planning for the College’s move to its new site on the Queen Elisabeth Olympic Park, scheduled for 2021 and is very proud to be part of this momentous period in LCF’s history. Forging new industry connections and innovation partnerships is very much a part of this role, strengthening the networks that will continue to connect us with the local, regional and global fashion industry.
