Angela Quaintrell has worked as a Consultant at the CFE since 2007, having amassed 30 years’ retail experience.
Angela spent 14 years as Senior Fashion Buyer at Liberty of London. Responsible for a turnover of £18million, she was the first buyer to buy Japanese designers Yamamoto, Miyake and Watanabe, as well as Brit newcomer Alexander McQueen, who she assisted with pricing and range planning. She is credited with establishing Liberty as a destination for luxury fashion.
Post-Liberty, Angela has worked as a sales manager at Paris and New York Fashion Weeks and with contemporary British Iranian designer Shirin Guild. She has worked with Colin McDowell at Fashion Fringe since 2004 and has contributed to the Fashion Scout Advisory Salons and BFC Fashion showcasing fund panel advising on retail strategies.
